The Young Adult Legion of Mary group was initiated on November 21, 2005 - the Feast Day of Our Lady. The group started with four members and now has 20 members, active and auxiliary. Active members attend a weekly meeting; auxiliary members are not required to attend meetings but pray for the success of the Legion of Mary by praying the Rosary from their homes.
The Young Adult Legion of Mary group prays the Rosary once a week and has a communion service once a month at a nursing home. We also do presentations on our Blessed Mother and Marian devotions to different ministries throughout the Austin diocese. On First Saturdays, we attend mass and pray the Rosary. Throughout the year, we make Rosaries and distribute them to continue Our Lady's message of praying the Rosary daily. The Rosary is a meditation on our Lord's life.
We have a pilgrim statue of our Lady of Schoenstatt and take turns having the statue in our homes.

Members of the Young Adult Legion of Mary meets once a week at St. William Parish in Round Rock. Our Spiritual Director is Sister Lillian. Throughout the week, members visit a nursing home, attend daily mass, and pray the Rosary daily.
Guests are always welcome! We meet on Friday nights in Religious Education Building, Room #23 at 7:30 p.m.

"You are a movement of lay people who propose to make faith the aspiration of your life up to the achievement of personal sanctity."

"Since starting the Young Adult Legion of Mary group I have grown in my spiritual life and closer to God through the intercession of our Blessed Mother. She always leads us to Him who loves us with all His Heart. In meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary, one can truly understand God's life. I thank God for the many blessings He has given the group and I pray that every soul is touched by the Blessed Mother Mary who leads us to Heaven."
~ Lynda Villasana, President
"Before I joined the Legion of Mary, I prayed to Jesus and to our God through our Blessed Mother that I would meet Christian friends. I had just recently moved to Austin and had no friends at all. After a few months of going to mass and praying, my request was answered. I met a wonderful friend, Lynda, who introduced me to all members of the Legion of Mary, who are now my friends. I know my prayer was answered because I never lost hope or faith."
~ Ana Aviles
"I have been more prayerful and my faith has tripled ever since I joined the Legion of Mary! I have come to know to ask Mary to intercede for me for God's help, miracles, graces and blessings, etc...I fully trust Mary with my life. I pray to God directhly as well, but at times, to have Mary's intercession is more infuluential. I am proud to be one of Mary's lgionaries. It is an hnor to fight for Her and God."

"The Young Adult Legion of Mary is a wonderful way to keep me close to the Virgin Mary, and where Mary is, Jesus can always be found."
