Catholic Movies
Movies do an excellent job of bringing our Catholic faith to life. The Good Neighbor Ministry has heard a calling to make movies available to our fellow parishioners so they can be inspired by our Catholic "superheroes". We are doing this in two ways:
Movie Screenings and Small Groups.
Movie Screenings
St. William's Good Neighbor Ministry periodically shows films to the public courtesy of Ignatius press. Past showings include Bernadette, the Passion of Bernadette, Padre Pio: Miracle Worker, St. John Bosco and Maria Goretti. If you are in a confirmation class, check with your teacher to see if attendance at one of these movies can count towards your spiritual hours.
PLEASE NOTE LOCATIONS! Movies are screened in the Parish Hall OR the Religious Education Building

Small Groups
Because the number of movies that can be shown in public and the availability of facilities is limited, we are also forming small groups of movie lovers who would like to gather to watch other movies. Families with children could pair with other families with children. Couples could group together. Young adults or Young at Heart (older adults) could gather to watch movies. The Good Neighbor Ministry will loan you the movies from our library at no charge.
If you are interested in joining a small group, please send your preferences for day and group type to azucena [at] rockover [dot] com?subject=Movie%20Lover%20Small%20Groupswith the Good Neighbor Ministry.
Past Movies
Saint John Bosco
St. John Bosco, Mission to Love. Strikingly filmed in Italy, this film is an exceptional feature about the humble, humorous, determined, yet gentle Giovanni (John) Bosco. From his fatherless childhood of poverty to his role as not just Father (Don), but loving father to the many orphans, homeless and wayward youth of Turin, this epic film expertly dramatizes the joys and struggles of this amazing saint as he dealt with adversity and persecution, not just from secular society, but also the Church while working tirelessly on behalf of the youth and in founding his religious order of Salesians.
Footprints of God - Paul: Contending for the Faith
In the year of Paul, we are delighted to bring you this wonderful documentary following the footsteps of Paul. Before he "saw the light," Saul of Tarsus pursued murderous threats against the disciples of Jesus. But Saul's zeal was upended when he was knocked from his horse and humbled by the hand of God.
