Bereavement Support Group

At the time of a loved one's death, we rely on our faith, family, and friends to help us through the grieving process. There are several types of bereavement groups that can help at the time of loss.

  • Seven Choices meets monthly on the third Saturday of the month and offers an introduction to the process of grief, prayer support and a chance to talk about how things are progressing (or not) with you and your family.
  • New Day Catholic Bereavement Support Group meets weekly for nine weeks and, through journaling and Scripture, delves much more deeply into the issues that surface when a loved one dies.
  • No One Cries the Wrong Way is a video-based series aimed at helping children cope with death. Our parish also offers support and resources for women and families who have suffered miscarriage or infant loss.

If you or someone you know has experienced the loss of a loved one, please join the Saturday morning bereavement support group.

Current Series

A new eight-week series of classes will take place beginning May 1 and will continue until June 26.  There will NOT be class on May 29 since Saint William will be hosting the ordination mass for the Diocese of Austin on that day.

This group meets at:

  • 9 a.m. in the St. Francis Room
(across from the Parish Hall and next to the Knights of Columbus Gift Shop)
  • There is no charge for participation in this group.
