June 21st – June 25th Vacation Bible School Youth Volunteer Opportunity

Parish Hall, Pavilion, R.E. building. Mon. – Friday 9 – 12 noon

All volunteering youth are expected to come every day at 8 AM for a morning meeting to prepare for participants and are expected to stay until 12:15 PM each day for a follow up meeting. June 28th – July 2nd - Just 5 Days- Adult Chaperones needed

Location: St. Catherine Sienna Catholic Church   Cost: $250- includes meals, lodging and supplies. Who: All incoming 2010-2011 7th- 9th grade students: A new and exciting opportunity to help middle schoolers engage in service and growth in faith. Just 5 Days is a five-day experience of service, hands-on learning activities, prayer and liturgy, and community building designed for groups of middle school youth and their adult leaders from Catholic parishes and schools. July 4th – July 8th - CAMP TEXAS

Who: Boys aged 10-13(dads are welcome)

By application:  14-15 (as team leaders)16+ (as counselors)

When: Sunday, July 4 at noon – Thursday, July 8 after lunch. Families, join us for closing Mass (10:00am), awards ceremony and lunch (12:00pm)

Where: Latham Springs Camp and Retreat Center, 134 Private Rd 223, Aquilla, TX 76622

Highlights: 350 acres of woods, hills and lakes, 8 miles of marked wooded hiking trails, 2 paintball courses (speed and woods), flag football, soccer, basketball, 35 foot rock climbing tower (2 walls), challenge cargo net, dual 300 foot zip-lines, 5 acre spring-fed lake, kayaks and fishing pier, 100 foot Wet Willie water slide, inflatable ice berg, swimming pool. Cost: by June 1: $280, after June 1: $320.

  Cross Training:  July 8 – 11, 2010 at Eagle’s Wings Retreat Center in Burnet.  This is a week long camp seeking to prepare incoming freshman for the challenges of high school as well as strengthen their faith to be leaders in their High Schools and Youth Programs.  Registration form click here.

 

  TEEN ADVENTURE WEEK:  July 12, 2010—July 16, 2010 - 6:00pm - 8:30pm St. William Parish Hall

Come take an adventure with us through the Acts of the Apostles. See how the Church began from a small group of followers and how, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, it exploded into the Church we belong to today. Each evening will be jammed pack with fun activities and dynamic speakers. Fee: $35.00 for the week Covers T-shirt, Material and Food. Open to all students in Middle School and High School. To register please complete the registration form and turn into Parish Office along with fee.

Conquest Boys Retreat Week- St. William Catholic Church July 26th- 30th Pavilion Mon-Thur (9-4Pm) Fri- 8-12. $85- Includes lunch and T-shirts.

A Conquest Day Camp is a fun opportunity for middle school boys to grow in their Faith and have fun. Attendees:  Boys 5 - 12, 13 and older will help as counselors. Events will include daily mass, sports, formation, virtue talks, a possible apostolate project, and saint movies.
