Saint William Rectory Expansion Helping to Foster Vocations

August 22, 2011 - Great news…the new expansion to the Saint William rectory was complete just in time for a new collaboration by St. William and the Diocese of Austin Office of Vocations.

Saint William will be hosting monthly dinners at the rectory for high-school-age men who are discerning the Lord’s call.  Starting in September, the Discernment Dinners will be held the first Wednesday of evert month at 7 p.m.

The first Discernment Dinner will be held on:

  • Starting September 7 at 7 p.m.
  • in the Saint William Parish Rectory
  • Single, Catholic men of high school age with an openness to encountering Christ and discovering their identity and their mission are invited to join others for dinner, evening prayer, a presentation, and discussion.

For more information about the Discernment Dinners or to get involved in the Vocations Committtee, contact Fr. Jonathan Raia at 512-255-4473 or visit the Vocations webpage

Thank you to the many parishioners who, through their prayers for vocations, support and encouragement of those who are discerning, have fostered so many vocations in our Diocese and from our parish.  Please continue to keep all those in formation for priesthood, diaconate and religious life in your daily prayers.
