Adoration

Perpetual Adoration takes place at St. William, 24-hours a day, seven days a week, in the Adoration Chapel (next to the Sacred Heart Chapel). At least two people are needed each hour to spend time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Please consider registering as an adorer or substitute. Without adorers, there is no adoration.
Altar Flowers

Do you have a creative eye and would like to help decorate the church? The Altar Flower volunteers work to provide and arrange the flowers for Mass.
Altar Linens

This group of volunteers washes the altar linens, purificators and corporals used during Mass.
Altar Servers

Altar servers are children in grades 4-12 who assist the priest and deacon with the books, candles and gifts during Mass, Stations of the Cross and other special liturgical activities. Training is provided at the beginning of the school year.
Children’s Eucharistic Adoration

Children of all ages and their parents are invited to join us for an hour of Eucharistic Adoration for Children. During the hour, the children will be guided through a combination of songs, prayers, decade of the rosary, scripture, moments of silence, the Divine Praises, and Benediction. Come spend time with Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Children between the ages of 3 and until the age of reason or once they have received their First Holy Communion can participate. During 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays, children can attend Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the Sacred Heart Chapel where the readings are presented in language that the children can understand. The goal of Children’s Liturgy of the Word is to teach children to be conscious listeners and responders to God's Word.
Choir

There are many choirs which provide music to all Masses. The choirs of St. William are always in need of new and experienced singers who can commit themselves to one practice and one Mass per week.
Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers

Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers are men and women who have been confirmed. This group of volunteers helps to dispense the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass. Eucharistic Minister training is provided before volunteers are commissioned.
Lectors

This group of commissioned volunteers prepares and proclaims the Sacred Scriptures during Mass and other celebrations.
Ushers

This group of men and women welcome the faithful at the church doors, assist with seating, the offertory collection, the procession of gifts, Communion processions and distribution of bulletins.
