The Boy Scouts presented Saint William with a Donation

March 26, 2012 - The Boy Scouts of Troop 345, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, presented donations totaling more than $320 at their spring Court of Honor Awards Ceremony on Monday, March 19.  The donations were made to (split between) Saint William Catholic Church, and the St Vincent de Paul Society.

Boy Scout Troop 345 held its annual Super Bowl BBQ Fundraiser in early February.  The fundraiser was a great success, in large part because of the support of the Saint William Parish and Parish Community.  Scouts had an opportunity to earn money through the fundraiser to pay for their summer camp fees and to buy camping equipment.  Proceeds from the fundraiser, will also be used for Camping Scholarships, to ensure that the Scouting Program is accessible to ALL Scout families. During the planning of this fundraising event, the Youth Leadership of the Troop committed to making a financial donation as part of their Duty to God and service to their community.
