1. What is the Law of Love?
The Law of Love is to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind and to love your neighbor as yourself.
2. What is a sacrament?
A sacrament is a powerful sign through which Jesus shares God’s life and love with us.
3. Name the seven sacraments we celebrate.
Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Matrimony, and Holy Orders.
4. What are the names of the Sacraments of Initiation?
The Sacraments of Initiation are: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
5. What is the Mass?
The Mass is our greatest prayer of thanks and praise to God.
6. What happens at each celebration of the Eucharist?
The bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ at each celebration of the Eucharist.
7. What are the names of the Sacraments of Healing?
The Sacraments of Healing are: Reconciliation and Anointing of the Sick.
8. Why do we celebrate God’s love and forgiveness in the sacrament of Reconciliation?
We celebrate God’s love and forgiveness in the sacrament of Reconciliation.
9. What is sin?
Sin is freely choosing to do something that we know is wrong. It is disobeying God’s law on purpose.
