Surrender

A time of prayer, learning & experiencing various forms of Catholic prayer & devotions.
 Date:  First Wednesday of each month.
 Time:  7:00pm to 8:00pm
 Location: Sacred Heart Chapel.
This event may be recorded for Spiritual Hours for Confirmation.

Confirmation Retreat

For all teens preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation: It includes Prayer, Adoration, Reconciliation, Mass, Doctrine and FUN.
 Dates: Friday, February 18th through Sunday, February 20th
 Location: Greene Family Camp, Bruceville, Texas, www.greene.org
 Cost: $125 per student – Paid with Registration fee
 Drop off: Friday - 2/18th at Pavilion at 6:30pm  
 Pick up:  Sunday - 2/20th at Greene Retreat Center 11:00am, at Pavilion 1pm

  
Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference (DCYC)

A time to renew the faith and share it with other teens: DCYC is held in Waco, Texas at the Waco Convention center. 
 We stay overnight in a nearby hotel.  Four teens will share a hotel room. If you feel your teen is not ready to
stay overnight in a hotel room without adult supervision, they should not attend this event.    
Dates: Friday, January 28th through Sunday, January 30th. 
 Cost:  To be determined.
 Location: To be determined (Hotel)

General information sheet

Pro-Life Rally

Diocesan event held at the Capitol to support the gift of life! This will be an all day event.
A march through downtown Austin to the Capitol building, National speakers and rally offer an opportunity to learn and experience the issues of “Life” facing our society.
Date: Saturday, January 22nd, 2011
Cost:  Lunch

Godstock

Diocesan event which has been described as Woodstock for God.  Catholic rock bands play throughout the day, opportunities for Catholic devotions, reconciliation, a national keynote speaker, Adoration and Mass.  This is a TENT CAMPING event.   
 Dates:  Saturday, April 30th to Sunday May 1st 
9th graders may record this event for Spiritual Hours for Confirmation
