Ethics & Integrity Information with Current Workshops and Discernments

The Diocese of Austin implemented a revised workshop to the Ethics & Integrity in Ministry education program. The new program is a significant update from past learning modules and we hope that the use of these materials will enhance volunteerism and raise awareness about the protection of vulnerable adults and youth.

Just as before; all NEW clergy, religious, seminarians, employees, and volunteers wanting to serve in ministry with minors or vulnerable adults; and anyone NEW to the Diocese of Austin must attend the Diocese of Austin EIM workshop and file an eApp with the Diocese or Parish EIM Site Administrator.

If you are currently compliant with the Ethics and Integrity policy, meaning if you have a current workshop and volunteer application filed with the Diocese of Austin, there is no need for you to file again.  Instead, you should know when to retake your next workshop.  These workshops should be revised every three years.  A complete workshop list is provided above this page.

If you are new to our parish and would like to take a step into becoming EIM compliant in order to volunteer, start with filling out the Diocesan online background check or contact Tommy Sustaita, Volunteer Coordinator at 512-600.8190 or email at
