Distribution of the Precious Blood

As directed by Bishop Vásquez, parishes across the Diocese of Austin, including Saint William, are in the process of preparing to resume the distribution of the Precious Blood during Mass. Parishioners are invited to visit this page periodically for the latest updates.

August 19, 2022 - For ten weeks in 2020, the Diocese of Austin faced an unprecedented time in history as our sanctuaries were closed to public Masses. Through that very difficult period, God’s grace accompanied us in many new ways. Q: When will Saint William resume the distribution of the Precious Blood?

Saint William is working to resume the distribution of the Precious Blood as close to, if not on September 14. In order to do so, the Saint William team is inviting new and returning Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, who are interested in serving, to contact the parish by submitting the form below.. The distribution of the Precious Blood will not resume until the Precious Blood can be distributed at all Masses.
