Curriculum

Saint William Early Childhood Development Center follows the Wee Learn Curriculum. In addition to this curriculum our school offers a Catholic faith-based learning environment for children between the ages of 18 months to 5 years of age.

Children participate in a variety of learning center activities which include: art, books, blocks, puzzles, manipulatives, nature, music, and dramatic play. Social skills are developed through sharing, taking turns, thinking, reasoning, and solving problems.  Bible stories, thoughts, and verses are included in each teaching unit.

Saint William ECDC also provides a ministry and a witness of Christ and knowledge of the Catholic faith to children and their families. The Saint William ECDC follows standards set by the church.

The curriculum is age specific and tailored to each child’s stage of development. Lessons are built around play experimental learning and designed to help the child develop in all facets of life including; socially, mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and facilitate the child’s ability to absorb his concept of God, through appropriate activities.

Age Specific Schedule

  • Children that are 18 months - 2 years of age will be allowed to come to school 2 days a week.
  • Children that are 3 years and 4 years of age will have the option of coming to school 2, 3, or 4 days a week.

Holidays, Breaks and Inclement Weather

The Saint William Early Childhood Development Center follows the Round Rock Independent School District calendar for school holidays, breaks and bad weather closings.  Saint William ECDC does have additional religious holiday closings.

Heavenly Father,

We give you our school. We give you all the teachers and staff who work here. We give you all the children who learn and grow here.

We pray our school will be place of great discovery, adventure, creativity, faith, hope and love.

May it be a place where we love to learn and where we learn to love,
a place where every one is respected and all are deeply valued.

We ask all this through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
